Aurangabad is located in the Central Indian State of Maharashtra & is accessible from many major cities by air, rail or bus. This city serves as a base for visiting Ajanta 106 kms and Ellora 29 kms which are a must see for any art enthusiast.
Maharashtra Tourism Development corporation runs a large guest house along with a tourist office from where the guided tours to Ajanta & Ellora begin
The service at the guest house is passable though the restaurant staff (apparently all on contract & frequently changing) could do with some training on customer service.
